GoLogin Free Plan Limits: What You Can't Do and 5 Signs It's Time to Upgrade
GoLogin's free plan gives three profiles with no card, but no profile sharing or team members. Where the free plan stops, and five signs that tell you which paid tier you need.
GoLogin's free plan is one of the lowest-friction ways into anti-detect browsing: three profiles, free forever, no card required. The question that comes up after a few weeks of using it is always the same: what exactly can't I do here, and when is paying actually worth it?
This guide covers GoLogin only. Plans and prices are from GoLogin's official site, checked on 2026-10-05, with some plan details from the pricing page as we re-read it on 2026-10-27. GoLogin revises its plans fairly often, so the official pricing page is the source of truth.
Where the free plan stops
| Free plan | Notes | |
|---|---|---|
| Browser profiles | 3 | Free forever, no card |
| Unique fingerprints | Yes | One per profile |
| Profile sharing | No | The pricing page excludes sharing on Free |
| Team members | No | Same |
| Cloud browser | Mixed messaging | Pricing page lists it under paid plans with launch limits; the product page mentions a free allowance |
| REST API | Not listed for Free | Paid plans list API access with rate limits |
| Paid-plan trial | 7 days | Shown on every paid plan |
In one sentence: the free plan is built for one person running up to three accounts by hand on their own computer. Step outside any part of that and you'll hit a wall.
Five signs it's time to upgrade
1. You need a fourth profile
The obvious one. One account per profile is the basic rule of the whole category. Once three profiles are taken, the fourth account has nowhere clean to live.
Tier to look at: Professional with 10 profiles, $9 monthly or $4.50/month billed yearly ($54 for the year: 4.50 × 12).
2. You're deleting profiles to make room
This is the more dangerous version of sign one. To stay under three, you delete an old profile and create a new one, and the account that used to live there now logs in from a brand-new fingerprint. To the platform, that looks like the same account hopping between devices. If you catch yourself recycling profiles to stay free, you've already outgrown the plan.
3. A colleague needs the same profile
The free plan has no sharing and no team members. The workarounds people fall back on, sending account passwords over chat or letting a colleague remote into your machine, are both insecure and leave no record of who did what. Paid plans list profile sharing. Check the plan grid for which tier includes it and how many shares you get, because it varies by tier.
4. You need profiles running when your laptop is closed
GoLogin's standout feature is its cloud browser: the browser runs on GoLogin's servers, so a profile stays available when your computer is off, and a team spread across cities doesn't need one shared machine. On the pricing page as of 2026-10-27, paid plans include the cloud browser with a limit on simultaneous cloud launches: one at a time on Professional, more on higher tiers. What Free includes is described inconsistently across GoLogin's pages. If this is the feature you're upgrading for, test a cloud launch during the 7-day trial first.
5. You want to script it
The pricing page lists a REST API on paid plans, at 300 requests per minute on Professional, and doesn't list it for Free. If you plan to manage profiles from Playwright, Puppeteer or your own scripts, you need a paid tier.
Paid tiers at a glance
| Tier | Profiles | Monthly | Yearly (per month) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 3 | $0 | — |
| Professional | 10 | $9 | $4.50 |
| Professional | 50 | $29 | $14.50 |
| Professional | 100 | $39 | $19.50 |
Those are the 2026-10-05 prices. On 2026-10-27 the pricing page also showed a 25-profile Professional option and a Business tier (300 or 500 profiles) at $99 monthly or $49.50/month billed yearly. Yearly is roughly half of monthly across the board, so if you'll use GoLogin for more than six months, yearly is cheaper (for example, $54 ÷ $9 = 6 months).
Matching signs to tiers
| If your sign is… | Start with |
|---|---|
| More than 3 accounts, working alone | Professional 10 |
| Recycling profiles to stay free | Professional 10, or the tier that fits your real account count |
| A teammate needs access | The first tier the pricing grid shows with sharing |
| Cloud browser for a remote team | A paid tier, after a trial cloud launch |
| Automation via API | Any paid tier; check the rate limit fits your scripts |
Two things to check before paying
- The refund window. The pricing page (checked 2026-10-27) lists "7 days free returns" on paid plans, so confirm the terms at checkout. Refunds on crypto payments aren't addressed; ask support before paying with crypto.
- Support and mobile. Chinese-language support is limited, and the mobile app is Android-only, with no iOS.
Getting the most out of free in the meantime
- Use the three profiles to learn the complete workflow: create a profile, attach a proxy, check the IP and log in. Our GoLogin tutorial walks through each step.
- Give each profile its own proxy. For accounts that stay logged in for months, one static IP per account is the norm; see the best static ISP proxies. If you're unsure which protocol to choose, read SOCKS5 vs HTTP proxies.
- If you're also weighing AdsPower, its free plan has two profiles and paid plans aren't refundable. The full comparison is in AdsPower vs GoLogin.
Before you add profiles, check whether the platform allows multiple accounts at all. An anti-detect browser isolates browser environments; it doesn't change a platform's rules.
