About

IPTested is an independent review and news publication covering four kinds of tools: proxies, anti-detect browsers, CAPTCHA solvers and VPS hosting. Our readers are cross-border sellers, social media teams and developers who collect data.

How we review

Every provider page follows the same process:

1. Verify official pricing. Prices, billing models, promotions and minimum orders come from the provider's own site, with the date we checked.
2. Read the terms and refund policy. We flag banned uses (such as VPS hosts that forbid scraping), refund limits and accepted payment methods.
3. Track IP sourcing and security incidents. Brands that authoritative sources tie to malicious networks are excluded, and we cover those cases as news.
4. Keep it current. Pages are updated when prices or terms change, and each shows its last-checked date.

We never invent speed or success-rate figures. If we haven't run a reproducible test, we don't publish a number.

Editorial independence

Providers can't pay for rankings, reviews or coverage. We state each service's drawbacks plainly, from strict refund policies to terms that forbid certain uses.
