Sellers running Amazon or TikTok Shop stores from China tend to ask three questions before they care about pool sizes: Can I pay with Alipay or WeChat Pay? Is there a static IP suitable for long-lived store accounts? Can I get help in Chinese when something goes wrong? IPFoxy and Webshare answer those questions in very different ways. Here's how they line up.

Prices and terms come from each vendor's site and were checked on 2026-10-05. Confirm on the official site before buying. For a closer look at one side, see our IPFoxy review.

Payment: the first fork in the road

Webshare's pricing page lists four card networks and nothing else. If you don't have a card that settles in foreign currency, that's where the process stops.

IPFoxy accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, USDT, BTC, PayPal and cards. For a Chinese seller, that covers almost every way they might want to pay, whether it's a company paying through one channel and a solo operator using Alipay on the side. For a wider look at what to check before you pay any proxy vendor, read How to Buy Proxies.

Static IPs: dedicated with unlimited data vs cheaper with a shared option

Store and seller accounts that stay logged in for months need an IP that's fixed, clean and not shared with strangers.

  • IPFoxy leads with dedicated static residential at $7.99 a month with unlimited data, across 25+ countries. The terms are spelled out clearly. The trade-off is coverage: 25+ countries may not include a smaller marketplace you sell into.
  • Webshare sells static residential (ISP) from $6.00 a month, in both shared and dedicated versions. It's cheaper to start, but for store accounts choose dedicated; a shared IP exposes you to whatever other users do with it. Check bandwidth and country options in the order configurator.

For a wider comparison of static ISP sellers, see Best Static ISP Proxies.

Trials and refunds

  • Webshare gives every new account 10 free proxies with no card required. It's a good way to learn how proxy setup works, but those are datacenter proxies, so they tell you nothing about how its static residential IPs will behave. Refunds are possible within two days of payment if usage is low, which is a tight window.
  • IPFoxy offers a free trial on sign-up and 12% off for new users. Its refund policy isn't clearly stated on the official site, so ask support before placing a large order.

Support in Chinese

IPFoxy is built for cross-border sellers and is Chinese-friendly, which keeps communication simple for teams in China. Webshare's dashboard is simple and quick to learn, but it's a self-service product for a global audience. We have no information on Chinese-language support, so plan on handling tickets in English.

Which fits your store?

Your situation Lean toward
No foreign-currency card; you pay with Alipay or WeChat Pay IPFoxy
Long-lived Amazon or TikTok store accounts needing dedicated, unlimited-data IPs IPFoxy dedicated static residential
You have a card and want to try proxies at zero cost Webshare's 10 free proxies
Tight budget, several static IPs needed Webshare dedicated ISP; price the full order first
You want after-sales support in Chinese IPFoxy

Whichever you choose, buy a single IP first and run the checks in How to Check If a Proxy IP Is Clean to confirm the IP type and location. Then pair it with an anti-detect browser profile. For full setups, see Multiple Amazon Seller Accounts and How to Manage Multiple TikTok Accounts Safely. Current pricing is on the IPFoxy and Webshare provider pages.

A low-risk way to try both

You don't need to commit to either vendor to compare them:

  1. Start with Webshare's free proxies to learn how authentication, IP lists and your anti-detect browser's proxy settings fit together. It costs nothing and doesn't need a card.
  2. Request IPFoxy's sign-up trial and use it on the same browser profile setup so the comparison is fair.
  3. Buy one static IP from each only once you've confirmed checkout works with the payment method you'll really use. For many China-based sellers, that step alone settles the choice.
  4. Run one real store account on each for a few days. Watch for location mismatches, unexpected verification prompts and connection drops.
  5. Ask each vendor's support one real question, in the language you'd normally use, before scaling up.

This takes about a week and gives you evidence from your own accounts rather than marketing pages.

Stay within the rules

A static IP gives you a stable network environment; it doesn't exempt you from platform rules. Whether you may run several stores or accounts is decided by Amazon's, TikTok's and other platforms' seller policies and by local law.
