Static Residential or 4G Mobile Proxies for TikTok Accounts? Choose by Country and Budget

Static residential or 4G/5G mobile for each TikTok account? IPFoxy and Proxy-Seller static IPs vs LTESocks per-port SIM lines, compared by country coverage and monthly cost.

IPTested Editorial · ·5 min read

Our TikTok multi-account setup guide covers the whole environment: browser profiles, cloud phones, daily habits. This piece zooms in on the question we get asked most often from that guide: should each account use a static residential IP or a 4G/5G mobile proxy?

Prices come from each provider's official pages, checked on 2026-10-05. They change, so confirm on the provider pages linked below.

What's actually different

Static residential (static ISP) IPs are fixed addresses registered to a consumer internet provider and assigned to you alone for as long as you pay. Every login comes from the same place, which looks like one household's broadband connection.

4G/5G mobile proxies route your traffic through real SIM-card devices on a carrier network. On mobile networks, large numbers of real phone users share the carrier's public IPs, so platforms tend to be cautious about blocking them wholesale. That's where mobile IPs get their reputation for high trust. The flip side is that the IP can change; whether you can hold one and for how long depends on how the provider configures the line.

If you want the background first, read what mobile proxies are and residential vs ISP vs mobile vs datacenter proxies.

The options on the table

Option Billing Listed price Countries Traffic
IPFoxy dedicated static residential Per IP, monthly $7.99/month 25+ Unlimited
Proxy-Seller ISP Per IP From $0.98/IP Chosen at checkout Confirm at checkout
Proxy-Seller mobile 4G/5G Per IP From $10/IP 20+ Confirm at checkout
LTESocks US 5G Per port $145/month or $10/day US (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T) Unlimited
LTESocks other countries Per port From $50/month (Ukraine); most countries $100–220/month 15, incl. UK, Germany, France, Spain Unlimited on most lines

IPFoxy also sells mobile traffic per GB ($2.79/GB). For accounts you'll keep for months, per-GB billing makes monthly cost hard to predict, so this comparison focuses on per-IP and per-port plans.

Monthly cost per account

Assume the safe default: one account, one IP.

  • Static residential. IPFoxy works out to $7.99 per account per month with no data cap. Proxy-Seller's ISP proxies start lower; the actual figure depends on country and quantity. Ten accounts land in the tens of dollars per month.
  • Mobile. An LTESocks US 5G port is $145 a month, so ten accounts cost $1,450. Even the cheapest Ukrainian line is $50 per account. Proxy-Seller's mobile proxies start at $10/IP, but check the price for the country you need.

That's more than a tenfold gap. For most accounts, static residential is the sensible default, and mobile is something you reserve for a few high-value accounts or specific tasks.

Choose by country first

Budget only matters once you know the IP exists where you need it.

  1. Check availability. IPFoxy's static residential covers 25+ countries, LTESocks's price table covers 15, and Proxy-Seller's mobile range covers 20+. If your market isn't on the list, the decision is made for you.
  2. Major markets like the US, UK, Germany and France usually have both options. Choose on budget and account value.
  3. Smaller markets: look at each provider's order page for the country list, then buy a small test and confirm the IP's location yourself. Our guide on checking whether a proxy IP is clean shows how.

When mobile is worth paying for

  • The account is high-value, such as a brand's main account or a key creator account, and you're willing to pay a premium for a network that looks like a phone user's.
  • You work mainly through the TikTok app, where a mobile network is the natural environment.
  • Static residential IPs aren't available, or don't hold up, in your target country.

LTESocks sells a $1 test plan (one hour or 200 MB on mobile, non-refundable). Use it to confirm the line in your target country works and that TikTok loads normally before committing to a month.

When static residential is enough

  • You run many accounts and each one is of moderate value.
  • Most work happens on the web: the TikTok web app, TikTok Shop Seller Center or Ads Manager.
  • You want every login to come from the same address, month after month.

IPFoxy offers a free trial on sign-up. Proxy-Seller has no standard trial, but refunds non-working proxies within 72 hours.

Testing an IP before you commit an account to it

Whichever type you choose, run the same short check before an account ever logs in through it:

  1. Confirm the type. Look the IP up and make sure a static IP shows as ISP or residential, and a mobile line shows a mobile carrier, not a hosting network.
  2. Confirm the location. Country (and city, if it matters to you) should match what you ordered and the account's market.
  3. Check reputation. Run it against common blocklists.
  4. Load TikTok signed out. Make sure the site and app load normally and show the expected region.
  5. Match the profile. Set the browser profile's timezone and language to follow the IP.

Only then sign in. If an IP fails any step, ask the provider for a replacement before the account has any history on it.

A simple rule of thumb

Situation IP choice
5–50 regular accounts, web-based work Static residential, one per account
1–3 flagship accounts, app-based work Mobile line per account if budget allows
Target country not covered by static residential Mobile, after a test
Tight budget Static residential; don't share IPs to save money

Whichever you choose, don't put several accounts on one IP to cut costs. That links them more clearly than anything else.

Stay within the rules

An IP is just the network layer. It doesn't replace good content, and it shouldn't be used to evade bans, mass-register accounts or inflate engagement. Follow TikTok's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, and check its current policies on running multiple accounts. Facebook ad accounts need a different line of reasoning; see which IP to use for Facebook ad accounts.
