Proxy6 vs Proxy-Seller for Dedicated IPv4: Price per IP, Rental Terms, Protocols and Refunds
Dedicated IPv4 only. Proxy6 lists $1.50 per IP a month and $0.35 a week; Proxy-Seller starts at $0.49/IP with rentals up to 12 months. Terms, protocols, network limits and refunds.
Buying dedicated IPv4 by the address is the most traditional way to buy proxies: one IP, one price, a fixed rental period, and usually no per-GB meter running. Proxy6 and Proxy-Seller are both long-standing sellers in this space. This comparison covers dedicated IPv4 only. IPv6, residential and mobile are out of scope.
Prices come from each vendor's site and were checked on 2026-10-05. Rental options, country counts and fair-usage terms come from the official product pages as we viewed them on 2026-10-27. Prices change, so check the Proxy6 and Proxy-Seller pages for current numbers. If you need a refresher on proxy categories, see Residential vs ISP vs Mobile vs Datacenter Proxies.

Price: the headline isn't the checkout total
Proxy6 has the more transparent price list. For 1–99 IPs, a month costs $1.50 per IP, two months $3.00 and three months $4.50. There's no discount for renting longer; the per-IP rate drops only once you pass 100 IPs, to $1.238 a month.
Proxy-Seller advertises "from $0.49/IP," but it doesn't publish a full grid of prices per country and rental period. You see the real price only after choosing a location, quantity and term in the order calculator. So comparing $0.49 with $1.50 tells you very little. Put your actual country and duration into both checkouts and compare the totals.
Rental terms: short tests vs long-term addresses
- A few days of scraping or a quick test: Proxy6's one-week rental at $0.35 per IP is about as flexible as it gets. Proxy-Seller also offers one- and two-week terms.
- Accounts that need the same IP for a long time: Proxy-Seller lets you rent for 6, 9 or 12 months in one go, which cuts down on renewals and the risk of an address lapsing. Proxy6 tops out at three months, but its API can buy and renew automatically, which softens that limit if you're comfortable scripting it.
Protocols and network restrictions
Both support SOCKS5 and HTTPS, and Proxy-Seller also lists plain HTTP. If you're unsure which to use, read SOCKS5 vs HTTP Proxy.
The bigger issue is Proxy6's network restrictions. Its FAQ says PayPal and Steam don't work on its network, and port 25 (mail) is closed. If your work touches PayPal, that alone rules Proxy6 out.
On Proxy-Seller, read the traffic terms. The IPv4 page advertises unlimited bandwidth, but its fair-usage policy says each IPv4 proxy includes 100 concurrent connections and 100 GB of traffic by default. The page doesn't reconcile the two. If you plan heavy scraping, ask support what happens beyond those limits before you buy.
Refunds: both cover broken proxies, not buyer's remorse
Neither seller offers a standard free trial, and both limit refunds to proxies that don't work:
- Proxy6: refunds within one day, only for faults or poor speed, and only before use. Shared IPv4 is non-refundable.
- Proxy-Seller: within 72 hours of purchase, a replacement or refund if support confirms there's a problem with the proxy.
"It turned out not to suit my use case" isn't a refund reason at either. Buy a single IP first, confirm your target sites load and behave normally, then scale up. For what to check, see How to Check If a Proxy IP Is Clean.
Who's behind them
- Proxy6 is run by Russian company PROXY SIX LLC and claims more than 1.1 million users. You can buy from a single IP, proxies are issued automatically after payment, and there's an API for purchasing and renewal.
- Proxy-Seller was founded in 2014, is based in Cyprus, holds ISO 27001 certification and claims more than 185,000 users.

Testing a single IP properly
Since neither vendor refunds a proxy that simply doesn't suit you, treat the first IP as a paid test:
- Rent the shortest term both offer, one week, in the country you actually need.
- Confirm the IP's location and type, then open each site your workflow depends on, including payment or login pages.
- Run your real workload for a few days at your expected concurrency. On Proxy-Seller, keep an eye on the fair-usage thresholds if you're near them.
- Only then scale up, and pick the longer rental terms once you trust the network.
Stay within the rules
Use dedicated IPs for legitimate work. Respect the target sites' terms and local law, and don't use them to evade bans, mass-register fake accounts or send spam.
