AdsPower Free vs GoLogin Free: What 2 or 3 Free Profiles Actually Let You Do
Free tiers only. AdsPower gives 2 profiles forever, GoLogin 3 with no card. What each cap means in practice, what's locked (team, sharing, automation, cloud) and when you'll have to upgrade.
If you're new to anti-detect browsers, or you only have two or three accounts to keep apart, the obvious first move is a free plan. Both AdsPower and GoLogin offer one that never expires. This piece compares only those free tiers: how many profiles you get, what's locked, and what eventually forces an upgrade. For the full paid-plan matchup, see AdsPower vs GoLogin.
Prices and terms come from each vendor's site and were checked on 2026-10-05. Notes on members and sharing limits come from the official pricing pages as we viewed them on 2026-10-27. Always confirm on the official site.
The free tiers at a glance
| AdsPower Free | GoLogin Free | |
|---|---|---|
| Profiles | 2, free forever | 3, free forever |
| Card required | Not stated | No card needed |
| Team members | Pricing page shows 0 | Pricing page says not included |
| Profile sharing | Not itemized on the pricing page | Pricing page says not included |
| Separate trial | 7-day full-feature trial | 7-day free trial |
| Refunds once you pay | None | 7-day free returns on paid plans, per pricing page; see below |
"Not stated" means the pages we checked didn't say either way. It doesn't mean the feature is missing or the requirement doesn't exist.
What 2 vs 3 profiles means in practice
One profile is one separate browser identity: its own fingerprint, cookies and proxy. Some common starter setups:
- One store plus its matching social account. Two profiles cover it, so AdsPower Free is enough.
- A main account plus two backups or test accounts. That's three, which fits GoLogin Free exactly.
- Your accounts plus one spare profile for testing proxies and fingerprints. A two-profile cap runs out fast.
One extra profile sounds trivial. For a solo seller with exactly three accounts, it's the line between paying and not paying.
What's locked on the free tiers
Neither vendor publishes a line-by-line feature matrix for its free plan. Here's what we could confirm:
Team features. AdsPower's free plan lists zero members. GoLogin's free plan excludes team members and profile sharing. In other words, both free tiers are single-user. As soon as a colleague needs access to the same profiles, you're on a paid plan.
Automation. AdsPower's RPA robot and Local API, and GoLogin's REST API, are presented alongside paid tiers on the pricing pages. How much of that reaches the free plan isn't spelled out by either vendor. If automation matters to you, test it during the 7-day trial rather than assuming.
Cloud features. GoLogin lists its cloud browser and cloud Android with concurrency limits per paid tier. Don't plan around them on the free plan. AdsPower is a desktop-first product, so this row mostly doesn't apply.
Proxies: the cost the free plan doesn't cover
An anti-detect browser doesn't come with IP addresses. Each profile needs its own proxy, and both tools let you set one per profile. That's the catch with any free tier: you save on software, not on proxies. If you're choosing between protocols, read SOCKS5 vs HTTP Proxy, and once you have an IP, run it through How to Check If a Proxy IP Is Clean before you log in to anything that matters.
When you'll have to upgrade
| Trigger | AdsPower | GoLogin |
|---|---|---|
| More accounts than the free cap | From the 3rd profile | From the 4th profile |
| A colleague needs access | Paid plan | Paid plan |
| Reliable automation | Validate in the trial, then pay | Validate in the trial, then pay |
| Profiles running in the cloud | Not applicable | Paid plan |
Paid pricing as checked on 2026-10-05: AdsPower starts at $9/month for 10 profiles, with 40% off yearly and 15% off quarterly. GoLogin's 10-profile plan is $9 monthly or $4.50/month billed annually. For current numbers, see the AdsPower and GoLogin provider pages.
Read the refund terms before you upgrade
AdsPower states plainly that purchases aren't refundable. That makes the 7-day full-feature trial the real test drive: build your actual workflow there before paying.
GoLogin's pricing page (checked 2026-10-27) lists "7 days free returns" on paid plans. Confirm the terms at checkout.
Which free plan should you start with?
- One or two accounts: AdsPower Free is enough, and upgrading later gets you the RPA builder if your work turns repetitive.
- Exactly three accounts and no budget: GoLogin Free.
- You're about to bring in a team: neither free plan will hold. Skip ahead and compare paid plans on per-member pricing and permissions.
The most reliable approach is to install both free plans, connect the same proxy to a profile in each, and use them side by side for a few days. Your own workflow will tell you more than any feature table.
Get the most out of a free tier
A free plan is most useful when you treat it as a structured test rather than a permanent home:
- Use real accounts, not throwaways. You learn more from how a profile behaves with an account you actually operate.
- Pair each profile with its own proxy from day one. Running free profiles on your home connection teaches you very little about how the setup will behave later.
- Note what you reach for and can't use. If you keep wishing a colleague could open a profile, or that a repetitive task were automated, that's your upgrade signal.
- Time the paid trial carefully. Both vendors offer a 7-day trial on top of the free plan. Start it only when you're ready to test the paid features you're considering, so the week isn't wasted.
Stay within the rules
Free or paid, use these tools only to manage business accounts you're entitled to run. Follow each platform's rules and local law, and don't use multiple profiles to get around bans or to mass-produce fake accounts.
