Best CAPTCHA Solving Services (2026): CapSolver vs 2Captcha vs SolveCaptcha

AI-only, human-powered, or AI-first with human fallback? CapSolver, 2Captcha and SolveCaptcha compared on price per 1,000 solves, CAPTCHA coverage, refunds, payment and terms of use.

We've already compared CapSolver vs 2Captcha head to head. This guide adds a third option, SolveCaptcha, whose AI-first, human-fallback model sits between the other two, and reorganizes the decision around four things that actually separate them: solving model, cost, coverage, and the terms you agree to.

All prices and terms come from each provider's official pages as listed on 2026-10-05. CAPTCHA pricing moves, so check the linked provider pages before you budget.

Acceptable use comes first

CAPTCHA-solving services are legitimate tools for a narrow set of jobs: automating sites whose terms permit automated access, running QA and end-to-end tests on your own properties, and keeping authorized data-collection pipelines from stalling. They are not for creating accounts in bulk, posting spam, buying tickets or limited stock with bots, or getting past login and sign-up protections. Those uses violate the target sites' terms and, in most cases, the solving services' own terms. This comparison assumes the first set of jobs only.

The short answer

  • Mainstream CAPTCHA types where speed and consistency matter: CapSolver. Pure AI, and prepaid packages save up to 50%.
  • Unusual CAPTCHA types, or you want a refundable balance: 2Captcha. Human-powered with the broadest coverage.
  • Lowest listed unit price: SolveCaptcha, with two caveats: prices float with load, and its terms limit use to research purposes.

Three solving models

CapSolver 2Captcha SolveCaptcha
Model AI Human-powered AI first, automatic human fallback
Strength Typically faster and more consistent under concurrency Adapts quickly to new or odd challenges Balances cost and coverage
Trade-off New challenge types wait on model updates Usually slower than pure AI Prices float with system load

SolveCaptcha says it uses AI only where AI has proven reliable and hands off to a human solver automatically when it fails. How that plays out in speed and accuracy depends on the CAPTCHA type and time of day. We don't have independent benchmark data, and we won't make up numbers; a small prepaid balance is the honest way to find out for your workload.

Price per 1,000 solves

CAPTCHA type CapSolver 2Captcha SolveCaptcha
Image $0.40 $0.50–1 $0.35
reCAPTCHA v2 $0.80 (Enterprise $1.00) $1–2.99 $0.55 (Enterprise same)
reCAPTCHA v3 $1.00 (Enterprise $3.00) $1.45 $0.8
Cloudflare Turnstile $1.20 $1.45 $0.8

How to read this:

  • SolveCaptcha's rates float. They rise and fall with system load, and you can set a bid cap in the dashboard so a busy period doesn't surprise you.
  • CapSolver's packages save up to 50% versus pay-per-use, so at volume its effective price can drop below the table.
  • 2Captcha's reCAPTCHA v2 range is wide ($1 to $2.99), depending on the specific task.

Current pricing: CapSolver, 2Captcha, SolveCaptcha.

Type coverage

All three handle image CAPTCHAs, reCAPTCHA v2 and v3, Cloudflare Turnstile and GeeTest. Beyond that:

  • CapSolver focuses on anti-bot systems: reCAPTCHA Enterprise, Cloudflare Challenge, AWS WAF and DataDome. hCaptcha isn't listed on its pricing page.
  • 2Captcha has the broadest list, including Arkose/FunCaptcha, Amazon and DataDome, and human solvers can deal with odd image challenges AI struggles with. It claims 4,500+ software integrations.
  • SolveCaptcha claims 20+ types, including Arkose/FunCaptcha, Amazon, DataDome and Temu.

Integration is comparable across the three. CapSolver offers Chrome and Firefox extensions, Python and Node.js SDKs, and integrations for Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer and n8n. 2Captcha has Chrome, Firefox and Edge extensions and SDKs for Python, PHP, Java, Go, C# and more. SolveCaptcha has a browser extension and libraries for Python, PHP, Java, C#, Go, Ruby, JavaScript and C++.

Refunds, payment and terms of use

CapSolver 2Captcha SolveCaptcha

Refunds None of any kind Unused balance within 30 days (60 if unsatisfied) Unused balance within 30 days (60 if unsatisfied)
Wrong answers — — Must be reported within 15 minutes
Alipay — Yes Yes
Other payment — PayPal, Visa/Mastercard, USDT, BTC and more Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, Airtm, BTC, USDT

A dash means the pages we checked don't state it.

Refunds are where the three really differ. CapSolver's free trial is your only evaluation window because nothing is refundable afterwards. 2Captcha and SolveCaptcha both let you reclaim unused balance, which makes them lower-risk for a first deposit. With SolveCaptcha, report wrong answers within 15 minutes or you lose the chance to get them credited.

Read SolveCaptcha's terms. They limit use of the service to research purposes. If you're building a commercial production pipeline, decide for yourself whether that fits; don't assume it does.

Your other vendors have terms too. Proxy providers often restrict CAPTCHA solving. PrivateProxy, for example, bans CAPTCHA bypassing in its terms. When you combine a proxy, a solver and a target site, all three sets of rules apply at once.

Which to pick

  • Automated tests and QA on your own site: any of the three works; CapSolver's free trial is the quickest way to wire it up.
  • Authorized data collection on mainstream CAPTCHA types: CapSolver for speed and consistency; buy a package once volume is predictable.
  • Mixed or unusual challenge types: 2Captcha, with the bonus of a refundable balance.
  • Research projects where unit cost matters most: SolveCaptcha. Set a bid cap and report bad solves promptly.
  • Production systems: integrate two providers, one primary and one fallback, so an outage or model regression doesn't stop the pipeline.

The cheapest CAPTCHA is the one you never see

Solving cost scales with how often you're challenged. Slower request rates, respecting robots.txt and rate limits, reusing sessions properly and using clean IPs usually cut CAPTCHA volume more than switching vendors cuts the price.
